He holds a bachelor’s degree from METU History Department and a master’s degree from Bilkent University Institute of Educational Sciences. He worked as a history teacher, department head and administrator in various schools as well as a project coordinator at Istanbul Bilgi University Center for Sociology and Education Studies (SEÇBİR).
He is the author of the History Foundation’s “20th Century World and Turkish History Teacher’s Guidebook”, Education Reform Initiative’s “Teacher’s Guidebook for Thinking Education” and Bilgi University Publications’ “Discrimination: Sample Course Practices” by Bilgi University Press.

She works and gives trainings on critical thinking, discrimination, gender and racism. She writes newspaper articles on education, education policies and issues that touch education. She hosts a program on education called Okul Zili (School Bell) on Açık Radyo.
