I. Imagination Awards was started to be organized by the Imagination Association in 2022 in order to identify, empower and motivate people and institutions that turn their dreams into power. The selection and working procedures of the committees that will take part in determining the persons who will receive awards within the scope of this event, the qualifications and selection procedure of the persons to be awarded are regulated in this regulation.
All material and moral rights and naming rights related to the II. Imagination Awards belong to the Imagination Association.
III. The Imagination Prize design is designed together with the children of the Imagination Association.
IV. All award processes are designed with at least 25% participation of children. At least 25% of the total number of boards must consist of children.
The official timetable of the V. Imagination Awards starts once it is published on the Imagination Association website.
VI. The details of which categories will be opened during the relevant period are decided by the Executive Committee and announced on the website before the start of the nomination process.
VII. The work with the highest score in the voting processes is determined as the winner of that category.
VIII. Presentations are prepared on equal terms for each person or organization nominated. These presentations are presented to the selection committee by the executive committee.
The IXth Imagination Awards consists of executive committee members, research committee and selection committee. The members of the executive committee have the authority to make all kinds of decisions and savings related to the award ceremony. At this point, the executive committee convenes with at least 3 members and takes decisions by majority vote.
X. Imagination Awards Executive Committee;
- Responsible for the overall coordination and healthy execution of the award ceremony.
- All marketing, communication, sponsorship and organization processes of the award ceremony are carried out in accordance with the decisions taken by the members of the executive committee.
- The Executive Committee is authorized to select and determine the members of the “Selection, Research and Organizing Committee” of the Imagination Awards.
- How the voting process will take place, whether the candidates meet the criteria, and the establishment and supervision of all relevant infrastructures are the responsibility of the Executive Board.
- It is directly authorized to terminate and appoint new members without the need to wait for the end of the term of office of those who do not fulfill their duties from the relevant rules during the award processes and do not participate in 25% of the meetings.
- Any official of the sponsoring brands cannot be a member of the executive committee.
- 50% of the executive board members must be members of the Imagination Association.
- The Imagination Award Ceremony is organized every year at a time and place to be determined by the Executive Committee. The executive committee is fully authorized in this regard.
- The chief executive also chairs the selection committee.
- At the award ceremony, only the executive committee will know which candidate has won the award. Winning candidates will be kept confidential until the award ceremony.
XI. Imagination Awards Selection Committee;
- A member of the selection committee can make a proposal for nomination as a member of the selection committee. At this point, people who have been a member of the selection committee in previous periods can give advice or advice can be taken from these people.
- In accordance with the principle of impartiality, the persons in the selection committee or the organizations they work for cannot be candidates or nominated in any category in question.
- The persons who will take part in the selection committee cannot engage in any communication that would put the Imagination Awards under any obligation, and cannot make any declarations and commitments.
- The selection committee must obtain written approval from the executive committee for any social media posts.
- The selection committee meets five times in total. Persons who do not attend at least two of these meetings are deprived of their voting and evaluation rights.
- Selection committee meetings can be held online.
- The voting by the selection committee is conducted in secret.
- Each member of the selection committee has one vote in voting. Members of the selection committee cannot vote by proxy.
- The members of the selection committee will be announced on the website. If deemed appropriate, a special organization or press conference may be held for this announcement.
- The members of the selection committee will learn live on the award night which candidate has received how many points or who has won the award in the relevant category.
- The members of the selection committee carry out the entire voting process in a closed manner.
