    What are the Imagination Awards?

     

    Imagination Center is a non-governmental organization that has emerged as a product of a new generation socialization and learning approach by establishing curiosity and skill communities. Today, it reaches thousands of children with its “not for children, but with children” approach, established with children, working across Turkey.


    Although there are approximately 101,000 active associations and non-governmental organizations in Turkey, only 15 of them carry out activities related to children. With the awareness that Imagination has given birth to civilizations in these lands, The Imagination Association was founded in 2020 with 33 children and 17 adults, with the participation of children themselves.

    As a social enterprise and non-governmental organization founded by children and adults together, we started to organize the Imagination Awards, a first both in Turkey and in the world, by making the community understanding of curiosity and skill more active since 2022.
     
    Despite the fact that imagination has given birth to civilizations in these lands, no association and no institution has ever rewarded achievements in this field. As the Imagination Association, we aim to increase the visibility and support of individuals, institutions and works produced with curiosity and skill, inspired by imagination, and transformed into a success story; We are organizing the second edition of the POWER OF IMAGINATION AWARDS this year and rewarding those who turn their imagination into power. People and works that make a difference in their fields with their imagination are evaluated according to criteria such as hope, sustainability, creativity and originality.
     
    The award is given to individuals and institutions that develop creative works, inventions, projects and products that are original, ethical, reliable, out of the ordinary and do not carry any discriminatory, religious, sexist, racist, discriminatory work or thought, and do not harm nature and animals.
     
    In the second century of our Republic, we believe that the Imagination Awards will provide an important vision for our children and young people, who are the future of Turkey. We believe that you are a person who has led our society with imagination in your field and we would like you to take part in the “Selection Committee” of the Imagination Awards to be organized for the second time with your valuable contributions.
