The Imagination Association was founded in 2020 with children and adults.
Imagination gave birth to civilizations in these lands.
Imagination is perhaps the most important thing a child or an adult needs to know themselves, to meet curiosity and skills, to start making a difference, to find a place for themselves in life, to increase their encounters and to create changes. The children working at the Imagination Center are actually an example of this. Children who discover their own curiosity and skills and try to do something in this field, no matter how disadvantaged they come from, begin to balance life and conditions and their sense of self becomes very strong. Then they start to inspire other children, young people, adults and institutions. They build communities of curiosity, skills and imagination.
Imagination Center addresses the concepts of “Child – Youth Entrepreneurship and Child – Youth Social Entrepreneurship” and organizes programs for children and young people to turn their curiosity, skills and dreams into power.
Children whose imagination, curiosity and skills are supported first realize that they and their ideas are valuable, and then realize what they can do with this imagination. With this power, children and young people begin to become individuals who are sensitive to all aspects of life, who can develop solution-oriented ideas, and who work for the well-being of themselves and society.
Supported children are connected to each other and to other people with much stronger bonds, regardless of their identity, language, beliefs and all their attributes. We invite institutions and companies to support our existing workshops, trainings, workshops, projects and programs that produce public benefit, and to create new ones together.
Dreaming more, being curious is actually what heals us. Our biggest wish is that institutions, in particular, sign new projects in this context and support children and young people in this way. Also, one third of the world’s population is children and one third of human life is spent in childhood. Of course, the Imagination Center’s path inevitably intersects with the children in all the adults who make up society and institutions.
In order to create such processes and environments, as DGMM, we organize many different learning programs with institutions, such as workshops organized by children and young educators, such as Child to Child Academy, Child to Adult Academy, Volunteering with Children, I Wonder the Future; the Dream Board, where children and young people can guide children and young people in deciding the future of the institution in addition to the executive, supervisory and board of directors; the Owners of the Future Speak the Future, Children, Future Advisors, where children are speakers and workshop participants.
The Imagination Center continues its journey on a roadmap that works simultaneously to empower children, build Turkey’s child entrepreneurship ecosystem, empower educators, develop curiosity and skill technologies, empower institutions and people, produce curiosity products, and create advocacy for skills and imagination.
